WHAT: An extended lab for all accomplished theater practitioners to apply their skills to scene study, monologues, new works, and theater creation. This lab will run 12 sessions and will allow the participants to expand on their craft with an end goal of showcasing their work in front of directors, writers, and theater producers. Focused specifically on those who currently work in the performing arts, this class offers an opportunity to work with like-minded professionals who seek to refine their skill and create theater with the best principles and practices. While this class is focused on the performance aspect of theater, we welcome directors, writers, and dramaturgs to join the class as another creative voice in the room to learn and grow with us. THIS IS AN ADVANCED LEVEL CLASS AND REQUIRES PREVIOUS PERFORMING EXPERIENCE.
WHO: Ages 18+
WHEN: January 6th-April 6th; Saturdays from 3:30pm-5:30pm. NO CLASS: January 13th or March 16th
WHERE: Hale Studios (537 North 1200 West in Orem); Final showcase for industry professionals.
COST: $165 per month (or $400 for three months)
